Peace,

Fun, Friends,

Playing, Laughing, Running,

Together, Team, Guns, Bombs,

Fighting, Shouting, Pulling,

Death, Loss,

War

This is a poem that we did about peace and war one half of the poem is about peace and the other is about war.

1st war horse poem

Albert and I grew up together

It was he who cared for me

I always wanted to be with him

Friend for life

Sweet dreams, Joey

It was my rider I disliked most

Corporal Samuel Perkins

A degree of respect I felt

Kind visits from Captain Nicholls

We watched the movie war horse and read the book. We took some words and made then into a poem. I choose the sentence "Sweet dreams, Joey" because I thought it would make a good ending line.
